A complex systems approach to cancer

Summary:

The course will describe cancer as a complex system through an interdisciplinary approach based of systems biology, physics and environmental sciences. The topics of the 5 lectures are the following: 

1) Biological aspects of cancer

2) Mathematical and physical models for cancer

3) Cell migration and cancer metastasis

4) A global health perspective for cancer

5) Hands-on activity in python
